Oszi for Windows

This program is a Windows 3.x application using any windows soundboard as
input device to simulate an oscilloscope, spectrum analyser and bode-plotter.

New with this version:

Now supports the Windows *.WAV file format.
A lot of cleansing done.

How to install:

files in this archive:
oszi.exe the executeable
oszi.hlp the help file
ctl3d.dll library
oszi.ini demo INI-file
readme.txt this file

Just copy oszi.exe, oszi.ini and oszi.hlp to any directory you want.

Try to start oszi.exe

If it says something like "ctl3d" not found, or library not found,
copy the ctl3d.dll to your windows\system directory.

Read remarks in oszi.ini for special configuration options !

If you have suggestions, please eMail me

Bugs:
For bode plot to work, you have to add a section

  [sndblst.drv]
  Port=220

to your system.ini and set the "FMport=detect" switch in oszi.ini !

Restrictions:
Bode plot will not work under NT or not SB compatible soundboards

In *.dat files, sample format information is neither saved nor restored.

Mono files are only partly supported. No time-scaling, no 3rd functions.

more than 3 channel input is currently not supported. I have no way to
  test this type of input.

When something does not work ...

Feel free to send me email with suggestions and bug reports. But please
be aware that I am not earing any money with this program, I'm working on
it in my spare time.

When something works ...

Positive feedback is always appreciated, it's the only reason why I continue
working on the program.

have fun,
