	Chaos Media Player 3.0

=============================================================================

 Introduction
 ------------

Chaos Media Player is a Windows 95 program which uses the (MCI)
Windows drivers. What does this mean? Cmp running on a plain Windows
can play wave files (*.wav), midi files (*.mid, *.rmi) and Video for
Windows files (*.avi). If you install additionalsoftware which also
uses MCI drivers (for example Apple Quicktime (*.mov) or Xing MPEG
(*.mpg)) these formats can also be played by Chaos Media Player.

How to use Chaos Media Player
 -----------------------------

At first click on the playlist button to create a playlist. Add media
files by selecting them and clicking edit, add or by doubleclicking
them. When you are done you can save the playlist by clicking file,
save. Then click the dropdown box and select a file and play it by
clicking play. I think the rest is clear enough, except the options
	menu which is explained below.

 Options menu
 ------------

 Playlist

Opens the playlist form at which you can change, open and save the
	playlist.

 Background

Whether Chaos Media Player should use a background image or not, use
choose background image for selecting a bitmap (*.bmp). Th first time
	choose background is executed automatically.

 Text labels

This turns on or off the text at the bottom of the control buttons.

 Trackbar

This toggles the bar below the Media Player logo, the bar is used for
changing the position in the current media file.

 Video in new window

When checked the video files are played in a seperate window, which
can be visible while te Media Player itself is minimized. When
unchecked the video is played on the same form as the control buttons
	and the playlist.
