INTRODUCTION
------------
Fed up with forgetting your passwords and getting "Your login or password is incorrect" messages? Then it's time for you to get Passwords & Address Book Manager. Nowadays, the average internet users have at least a dozen different internet accounts, each with different logins and passwords to remember! (at least one for your e-mail, several for your credit cards and bank accounts, a few more for online newspapers and magazines, and one for each online shop, auction site, forums, etc.) You practically need a database to store all this information. If youre like me, I try to use the same password for most accounts. However, each site requires a different password requirement so password from one site may not be valid on another site (i.e. some account requires some letters and numbers, others requires at least 6 or 8 characters, etc.)

Passwords & Address Book Manager is designed to keep your passwords secured and easy to manage. It can store user names, passwords, and other personal information, then automatically retrieves the data needed for email, secured web site logins such banking, as shopping orders, and other online activities.

Unlike other password software that requires tedious cut-and-paste or drag-and-drop operations to enter your passwords, Passwords & Address Book Manager types the passwords for you when a user-defined "hot key" is pressed. As such, it works with any Windows application such as any web browsers, not just Internet Explorer alone!

You can also access your secured web sites directly from Passwords & Address Book Manager without having first launching your web browser.

Passwords & Address Book Manager is also an address book at your fingertip. Simply create an "address book" category and you can quickly retrieve names, addresses, and phone numbers with a mouse click.

Last but not least,you can use Passwords & Address Book Manager to store all your confidential info so it can be accessed immediately from the system tray. Of course your data will be password protected and safely encrypted so no one can access it without your permission, even if he or she is currently using your Windows account.

OPERATIONS
----------
Using Passwords & Address Book Manager is a very simple process: With a single key press of one of the 12 function keys, Passwords & Address Book Manager sends the required user name, password, or a special key (such as zip code) to a secured web site without you having to memorize them for each site.

	1) Click the Passwords & Address Book Manager icon in the system tray.
	2) Select the site name from the Accounts drop down list box.
	3) Click the appropriate box on the web page (User name, password, or special key) then press the appropriate function keys (F1..F12).

* To edit a site, click the "Quick Edit" radio button then select the site name to modify the account info.
* To add a new site, click the "Add Account" button, then enter the new account info.
* To delete an existing account, first click the "Quick Select" radio button, then click the "Delete Account" button to delete the highlighted account.

You can even have Passwords & Address Book Manager to send out confidential data only when a master password is first supplied after each hot key is pressed. This would prevent users other than yourself who are permitted to use your computer to gain access to your secured sites without your authorization.

All your user names, passwords, or special keys are safely encrypted using DES.

	* If Quick Access is selected, single click any account will immediately launch your default web browser and take you directly to the web site you specified in the account.
	* If Quick Edit is selected, single click any account will bring up the Edit window where you can edit the account info.
	* If Quick Select is selected, single click any account will activate that account hot keys so you can use the hot leys in other Windows application.
		In this mode, right click any account will allow you to:
			* Access Account
			* Add Account
			* Edit Account
			* Delete Account

There are 3 options available under "File", "Options":
	* Required Master Password To Edit: Check this box if you want the current user to be able to edit your accounts info only after providing the master password (in case someone else other than you is using your computer.)
	* Required Master Password To Send: Check this box if you want the current user to be able to send your pre-programmed user names, passwords, or special keys only after providing the master password.
	* Send ENTER automatically: Check this box if you want Passwords & Address Book Manager to press the ENTER key at the end of each hot key pressed.
	* Send TAB automatically: Check this box if you want Passwords & Address Book Manager to press the TAB key at the end of each hot key pressed. This is handy to automatically move to the next box after each hot key (i.e. After sending the user name, the cursor will automatically move to the password input box.)

You may want to group items in categories for quick access. For example you can group all the web sites that require user name and password in a category called "Web Sites" and all the contact info in a category called "Address Book". Selecting each category will only display the relevant items.

From "Export Accounts" under "Tools", you can also export all your accounts to a file to save it in a secured place with the option of encrypting the data (for security reason) or just to store it in plain text (not recommended). If you chose to export the data in plain text, the format of the file will be CSV (Comma Separated Value) and can be viewed in NotePad or Excel.

If you install Passwords & Address Book Manager for multiple users, you can use "Remove All Accounts" to quickly wipe out data to start each user with a clean data file.

The "Restore Default Settings" should only be used to restore preset configuration such as font name, size, colors, etc. and will erase all your user-defined settings.

This file can later be imported back into Passwords & Address Book Manager using "Import Accounts"

NOTE: All hot keys programmed by Passwords & Address Book Manager will override hot keys of the active Windows application. For example if you use the F5 key in Passwords & Address Book Manager, then F5 will not refresh the screen in Windows Explorer but will send your programmed characters instead. Therefore, it is recommended to program the unused function keys in Passwords & Address Book Manager in order to prevent this conflict.
