Password Protection

Password Protection is used in windows 3.1 to keep people out of
certain programs or applications. To use, simply place a copy of the
program file (password.exe) in the same directory as the program to be
protected. Alter the programs icon properties to execute the password
program instead of the program to be protected. Then the first time
you run the program, you will be given a setup screen to enter a short
title and password, and allow you to browse to the program that is being
protected. This information is then saved to the hard drive. The next
time you run the program, you will simply see the 'enter password" screen.
You must enter the current password to run the program that is being
protected or enter the setup area again.

This program was written in Microsoft's Visual Basic 3.0 Pro.
