**Warning**

WARNING: FlashLock employs routines that completely renders
files unreadable. Precautions should be taken. Make sure the
data you are encrypting is backed up at a different location.
The author is not responsible for lost data due to improper
usage of the program or an issue particular to the user's
computer. FlashLock has been fully tested with folders up
to a size of 40 megabytes in 150 files. The program may or
may not work with higher numbers.

To Install, run the Setup.exe program. If you are upgrading from a
previous version make sure to specify the same folder on your hard drive
as the previous version when prompted during the Setup process.

**OVERVIEW**

FlashLock is a folder locking utility. Entire folders can be encrypted
into one file. With the appropriate password the file will open into a
standard Windows folder and can be manipulated like any other folder and
when it is closed the folder will be re-encrypted. Unlike other utilities
which only encrypt each individual file and leave them in place, FlashLock
encrypts all the contents of the folder and its subfolders into one single
file and the individual files in the folder can neither be listed nor
viewed without decryption.
