To run CRYPTONITE!!, type cryp20 at the dos command line, or, if
in windows, choose "cryp20.exe" from the file manager.

Cryptonite!! is a utility which will code text files (text file encryption).
This is useful if you want to send sensitive documents via e-mail, and
you do not want others to intercept your documents. In this day and
age, it is common for e-mail to be read by bosses, sysops, etc. It is
a common belief that your network account documents are personal, and
safe from prying eyes - this is not so; personal network accounts are the
property of the institution, company, etc., and thus viewing personal
documents is justified. Also, documents sent over the internet are
vulnerable to interception.

File encryption is as easy as 1,2,3!! Choose "file encryption" from the
menu (or, do decipher an encrypted file, choose "file decryption"), enter
your personal cipher key (or keys, with the registered version), and save
the encrypted file. The encrypted file can now be sent and read to others
who know the cipher key. EASY!! Note: Before sending out an encrypted file,
be sure to ZIP if first (pkzip works very well) because e-mail systems
can add junk to uncompressed files, making them undecryptable.

The built-in text editor allows you to write new files, or modify existing
files. Most of the key commands are straight forward, but I must note here
that the

                        Alt-Enter

key combination is used to delete lines of text; it will delete the entire
current line and replace it with the next line. I limited it to 300 lines
max for the moment to keep written text compatable with the small file
encryption feature.

CRYPTONITE!! is a shareware program, and can be distributed freely.
