TINRA - That Is Not Real Anymore Version 0.03 by The ZT!

TINRA is a RealVideo to AVI decoder. Although it has many limitations it's
the only way I know to do this. The RealPlayer G2 has to be installed.

Usage: tinra file:therealvideo.rm output.avi

What's new:
(0.03)
- fixed a bug which was introduced in 0.02 and which caused crashes when
  TINRA finished its work
- optimized the speed (see also "Bugs and limitations")
(0.02)
- AVIs created by TINRA can now be opened in VirtualDub and AviUtl
- TINRA converts RealAudio-only files, too. You'll get an audio-only
AVI, so if you need a WAV please use a program like AVI2WAV by A. Grgic
  (http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Way/9629/avi2wav.htm).
BTW: VirtualDub/AviUtl won't do it since they don't like AVIs without
  a video stream.
- A bug which made the audio track seem much too long in some players
  was fixed.

Bugs and limitations:
- TINRA is a quick and dirty hack, so expect some crashes
- TINRA only decodes RMA_RGB and RMA_YUV2 colorcoded videos
- TINRA creates uncompressed AVIs which become very, very big
- Because of that the 2 GB limit for files is reached very soon
- The framerate of RealVideos can be variable, the AVI-framerate isn't.
So Audio and Video may get a bit out of sync sometimes
- The faster your computer is, the better will the framerate. Since TINRA
uses the RealPlayer to decode the videos and the RealPlayer tries to
play videos in real-time, the AVI-framerate will be less than the
framerate of the original video when your computer is too slow to
  decode all frames in real-time.

TINRA is freeware. You may copy and use it as much as you want.
And: I'm not responsible for any damage it causes or if you use it to do
illegal stuff.

Support:
No, I'm not giving away my e-mail address since I don't want to offer
personal support for TINRA. But you can contact me at rec.video.desktop
or de.comp.tv+video (german). Please mention TINRA in the subject so I
can find your question.
