Spheroids Screen Saver
=========================
version 1.7

Spheroids is a Windows screen saver (Win3.1 or Win95). It fills the
screen with beautiful, smoothly shaded spheres. This saver works
*best* under 24-bit color mode (you get nicer, smoother colors that
way), but you can run it under 256 color mode if you have to. Options
for max/min size and speed can be changed via the setup box.

Installing the Screen Saver
==============================
To install this screen saver, simply copy the .scr file and this document
into your Windows directory (usually C:\WINDOWS). In Windows 3.1, this
can be accomplished by double-clicking File Manager (in the "Main"
program group), selecting the .scr file in the directory you downloaded
it in, selecting File...Copy, and typing "C:\WINDOWS" in the "To" box.
In Win95, just navigate to the folder you downloaded it in, click the
file, and select Edit...Copy. Then navigate to your Windows directory
and select Edit...Paste. (Whew!)

Setting Up the Screen Saver
==============================
After you have installed the screen saver, you can try it out and change
the different settings to your specific taste. To do this in Win31, double-
click on "Control Panel" in the "Main" group and select "Desktop." Under
Windows 95, right-click the desktop and select "Properties," then click the
"Screen Saver" tab in the window that pops up.

You can click "Test" to preview the screen saver or, if you're can't resist
tinkering with things that work perfectly OK (like me), click the "Setup"
button. Here you will find loads of options for customizing Spheroids for
your own preferences. Try 'em all!

Uninstalling the Screen Saver [don't read this! :) ]
========================================================
If, for some odd reason, you wish to remove this wonderful masterpiece of
a screen saver (maybe to free some disk space), just follow these easy
steps:

   1. Select another screen saver in Control Panel.
   2. Open your windows directory in File Manager or Explorer.
   3. Select SPHEROID.SCR in the list of files.
   4. Hit the delete key (or go to File...Delete).

The screen saver will then be uninstalled!
