and I will send you, by e-mail, the file that removes
the trialware portion of the program.

If you would like to purchase a CD that contains
RDM, TimeTest, MSPlotter, and a few of my other programs
please send $40 dollars with your name and address and you
   will be sent a CD.

note: the program will only run 15 times unless purchased. You will see
the counter in the path status bar.

2. Using RDM

  A. Loading a picture.

Go to "File" then click "Open" and select a 16 color bmp
image (you may also select a 16 color jpg).

  B. Converting a bitmap image to a stereogram.

Load the file called "Red Box.bmp" from the RDM directory (
where RDM was installed). Click "Go" from the program menu.
If the program is using its default settings, you will see a
box in the center of the stereogram. The box is at a forward
depth of 6 in the "Settings" window located in the "Options" menu.
This number can not be greater than the number in the "Pattern
width" box located in the settings window. The background color(
default white depth) is set to 0. The bigger the red depth number
is, then the closer to the front the box will be. The smaller the
red depth is to 0, then the closer to the back the box will be.

note: if you want a certain color to be a certain depth, change
the number in the settings window next to that color.

  C. Converting a jpg to a stereogram.

Load the file called "Red Box.jpg" from the RDM directory (where
RDM was installed). Left click on "Copy" from the edit
menu. Now left click on "Paste" from the edit menu. Now
right click the mouse over the image and left click on
"Settings". Change the "White depth" edit box to 3. Click
"Go" from the program menu. Keep in mind that jpg's don't work
     as well as bitmaps.

  D. Converting a list of bitmaps to stereograms.

Go to the options menu and left click on "Generate List". Now
left click the "Add File(s)" button. You can select multiple
bitmaps by holding down the left mouse button and highlighting
the files you want. Click "Open". Choose the name and directory
the stereograms will be saved to ("File Prefix" button) and click
     "Generate".

  E. Generating width dots.

Check the "Generate Width Dots" setting in the option menu. This
will generate two dots that will help people see the stereogram.
Simply look past the image untill you see three dots instead of
two. You can also cross your eyes untill you see three dots.

3. How to see a stereogram.

Method 1: Look past the image and try to relax your eyes.

Method 2: Cross your eyes and slowly straighten them.

note: if you have any trouble, see "2. E. Generating width dots"
         in the table of contents.
