Paster v0.8

------------------------------------

Paster is a simple tool for creating icons. PAster does not make icons from scratch but rather from existing icons. The idea behind Paster is that most icons are a combination of a background template and a foreground glyph (small icon). Paster's approach is great for users who want to further customize existing icons sets. Though these results can be achieved with most icon editors, Paster offers a much simpler and quicker way, tailored for newbies.

How to use Paster?
------------------------------------

1. First you'll need to open a background icon. Click the Open button and browse your HD.
2. Now you need to choose a glyph. In the "Glyph" box you'll see a list of all useable files in the current directory. Browse you computer for the desirable directory - Click the Up Arrow to jump up a level. Double click the icon to choose. If the file you choose includes more than 1 icon, Paster will listall of them and let you choose. The chosen icon will appear in the main canvas.
3. Use the arrows or drag the glyph to place it one the canvas. To flip the glyph use the Flip Horizontal/Vertical buttons.
For more elaborate icons, which combine several glyphs the "Layers" mode is available. After opening several glyphs (2 or more) click the "Layers Mode" button. A list of layers will appear where every glyph is on its own layer. Drag the layers up and down to change their order. Before flipping or moving a glyph select its layer. To delete a layer, right click on it and select "Delete".
4. Once everything is complete click "Save" and save you new icon.

Thats the simple 4 step technique.
