***3D Hand Clock options***
Color:
Choose color lets you select directly what color the clock is to be.
To use this option check "choose color" and then use the scroll bars to
select the color you want to clock to be. There is a preview color box
that will show you exactly what color you have selected at the moment.

Color schemes allow you to select a predefined colors for the hand
 	clock.

Color cycling will cause the colors of the clock to cycle which is a
very nice effect. If you select keep like colors the clock as a whole
will keep its colors in order instead of each little piece of the clock
going off on its own color direction.

Shapes:
Cubes cause cubes to be at the hour positions on the clock.

Spheres cause spheres to be at the hour positions on the clock.

Donuts cause donuts to be set at hour positions on the clock.

Cones cause cones to be set at the hour positions on the clock.

Mesh cause a mesh shape to be set at the hour positions on the clock.

Emitters cause emitters to be placed at the hour positions on the clock.
How the emitters look is determined by the emitter controls.

If you select two or more shapes then all the shapes will be placed on the
clock at the hour positions in alternating order.

Emitter:
The emitter controls effect the output of the emitter shape. Lifetime causes
the emitters to emit for longer periods of time before the smoke like output
fades away. Other controls effect the size of the emitter output, how detailed
the output is, and how fast the emitters output.

Shininess:
Shininess causes the shapes and the clock to have a shiny look to it. You may
adjust how focused the shine is on the clock by using the horizontal scroll
bar named "Shine". The higher the shine the more focused the shine is on the clock
shapes. The lower the shine number the less focused the shine is on the clock shapes.

Clock hands:
Clock hands let you choose if you want plain or cone type hands. Plain hands do
not shine as the cone hands will if you have shininess enabled.

Rotation:
By selecting Enable in the rotations group, the shapes at the hour positions
will rotate. If Enable is not selected the shapes at the hour positions
	will not rotate.

Text:
AM/PM selected causes the clock to display if the time of day is AM or PM in
	the center of the clock.

Numbers cause the numbers 1-12 to be displayed on the clock at the hour
	positions.

Movement styles:
Movement in any screen saver is required. 3D Hand Clock allows you to select one
of many different types of movement for the hand clock. Each type of movement
will cause the hand clock to move, rotate, swing, or bounce a different way.
Some suggested types of	movement are: Bounce, XYZ rotate, 3D bounce, or Roll.
If you would like the program to choose a movement type for you, simply select
	Random Movement.

Speed:
Speed controls how many frames per second the clock will run at. If you want the
clock to run at a faster frame rate, move the scroll bar thumb to towards the "Fast"
position. If you want the clock to run at a slower frame rate, move the scroll bar
thumb towards the "Slow" position. Note that the clock can only run as fast as your
computer can execute the program instructions. On a slow computer there may not be
any change in speed by moving the thumb to the fast position because a slow computer
may already have trouble producing a slow frame rate.

Option pages:
The various buttons listed under the options pages box contain more controls for the
3D Hand Clock. Click on a button to open the new control window. Below is descriptions
for the controls that appear by clicking the various buttons.

***Rendering***
Rendering:
Rendering allow you to select if the clock is to be drawn as wireframe, solid/smooth,
	or as flat shaded.

Polygon detail:
The higher the polygon detail the smoother the shapes will look on the clock. This
is because more polygons make up the shape. The increase in polygons also cause the
screen saver to move at a slower speed unless you have a high performance computer.
If you want to increase the speed of the screen saver if the display looks jerky,
	select low polygon detail.

***Background***
Star field:
This is a nice effect that causes a star field to be displayed in
the background. You may select exactly how the stars will move in the
background by either choosing horizontal scroll, vertical scroll,
warp, or no scroll. You may also select how many stars will be in the
star field and how fast the star field will move.

Star rotation causes the star field to twirl only when in warp mode. The
star speed determines how fast the stars will rotate.

Star color schemes allow you to select what colors the stars are to be. This
will allow you to select a star color depending on your personal preference.

Pictures:
BMP and JPG pictures can be loaded into the clock and displayed in the background
as the clock moves in the foreground. Currently, the 3D Hand Clock can hold up to
10000 different pictures. These pictures will change depending on the specified cycle
rate. If the cycle rate is set to 0 minutes, the pictures will not cycle. If the
pictures are small in resolution or too large for the screen, the 3D Hand Clock will
fit the pictures to the size of the screen or bounce the pictures around the screen
	depending on your selection.

***Effects***
Motion blur:
Motion blur causes the clock to have a fading image of where it has been on the screen.
Selection can be made to have the rim of the clock, numbers, or hands of the clock blur
at the length specified by blur length. A higher blur length will cause more previous
	images of the clock.

***Sound***
CD Player:
If you check the "Enable" button, the CD that is currently in your CD drive will be
played when the screen saver starts running. The clock will start the CD from the
first track and play through the CD until the end. Once at the end of the CD, the
clock will reset the CD player and start over. You may select that the clock shutoff
the CD player after a period of time by checking the "Auto shutoff" box and selecting
how long before the clock is to shut the CD player off. This option is great if you
want to hear some music before you go to sleep and want have the screen saver
automatically turn the CD player off when you think you will be in dream land.

Hourly Chime:
Hourly chime causes the clock to chime at each hour. This chime can be a beep or a wav
file which can be set by clicking the "set wav" button. If you do not want the clock
to chime each hour, click on the "none" radio button.

Alarm:
An alarm time can be set for the 3D Hand Clock which will cause the clock to beep or run
a wav file in a loop when the alarm time has been reached. The alarm can only be turned
off by either moving the mouse or pressing a key which will end the screen saver. Please
note that the alarm will only be active if you check the "Enable alarm" box and if the
screen saver is running when the alarm time is reached.
