World Clock ... A Windblows version
-----------------------------------
Conversion by Steven De Toni 1998

What is it?
-----------
World clock is what I call a desktop toy, it serves no real important
purpose, but to displays the day and night time parts of the world.

Is it free?
-----------
Why yes (cardware), and to those people who try to hock programs like this for Fiver,
Shame on you, who would buy such crap ... thats why I wrote this.

Colour Displays
---------------
I was going to make this program function on 256 colours or better but it
didn't quite eventuate because DIB bitmap drawing sucks completely under
Windows. Too much of an was effect required to draw to a DIB bitmap than
is warranted, so while it will display in 256 colours, not all the colours
will be correct due to me drawing to a compatible bitmap and not a DIB bitmap
section.

I hate the default map(?/!)
--------------------------
To bad ... and it came from a Macintosh as well and probably why!
You can define your own worldmap with New Zealand as 12 hours ahead of GMT
(time zone 0 I think), call it worldmap.bmp.

how to use the program
----------------------
1) Run program
2) Right click mouse button on window to select options
3) Left clock mouse button to move window
4) Size window to what your like and watch the CPU grind to a halt!

Cardware
--------
My pinboard is a little sparse at work, why not send a postcard of where you
live in payment for my effort in writing this program, or any of my other programs
on my web page http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Horizon/2691/

Send a postcard to:

29 Sadler St
Hamilton
New Zealand

Cheers,
Steve.
