This file explains how to setup your printer under Personal Harmonograph
Simulator (PHS).

PHS is set up for an Epson compatible printer and should work with most
printers without modification. If it doesn't work with your graphics printer,
you must edit "printer.ini" with a text editor to specify your kind of printer.
If you don't have a text editor, use the DOS "edit" command, for example:

	edit printer.ini

typed at the DOS command prompt will work. The file looks like this:

0	Type of printer. Set this to -1 if no printer is connected.
 0	Size of printout.

Change the "0" in the first column of the first line to one of the following:

0	For Epson FX, JX, LQ compatible printer
1	For IBM Graphics, ProPrinter, or Epson LX, MX printer
2	For Okidata dot matrix printer
3	For HP LaserJet compatible printer
	4	For Texas Instruments printer
	5	For Toshiba printer
	6	For HP PaintJet printer

After you have changed it to the proper number from 0 to 6, and saved the file,
try printing a pattern from the PHS program. If the printout is too small,
increment the 0 in the second line of the "printer.ini" file until the printout
is large enough.
