NetLyrix v1.0
(c) 1995 Matt Ginzton, MaDdoG Software
released 11/22/95
======================================

NetLyrix is a Windows viewer for the music lyric files commonly found on the
Internet (delimited by @ALBUM, @SONG, etc.).

A good source of these lyrics is ftp://ftp.uwp.edu/pub/music/lyrics. (If you
have a Web browser, the same server has HTML versions of the lyric files, but
if you plan to read the same ones over and over, it's faster to download them
to your computer and use NetLyrix; and this avoids strain on the uwp server.)

Installation
============
NetLyrix consists of only one file (NetLyrix.EXE) and requires no special
installation. Simply place it in a convenient location for you and run it.
(Although, NetLyrix does take advantage of CTL3D.DLL if it's available --
I recommend obtaining this file if you don't have it and placing it in your
Windows\System directory.

Usage
=====
Run NetLyrix and tell it the name of the directory in which your song lyric
files reside. NetLyrix will scan all files in that directory, and build an
index of anything that looks like song lyrics.

All found albums are listed in the left half of the NetLyrix window; click on
one of these to see a list of songs it contains. There are also two "special"
album titles: <all songs> contains all the songs, not classified by album, and
<unclassified songs> contains songs that weren't properly marked by album.

Double-click on a song name to view its lyrics.

Special features
================
o Under Windows 95, NetLyrix supports long filenames.
o Pass the name of a directory on the command line to start in that directory
o Sort by order of appearance on album, or alphabetical order
o Recapitalizes song titles, if desired, since many lyric files have titles
  in all caps.
