                            MWTWIN.EXE

This program will calculate the molecular weight and percent composition
of up to seven compounds simultaneously. It recognizes user-definable
abbreviations and all isotopes. It also includes a Mole/Mass Converter,
Formula Finder, and built-in calculator. See the MWTWIN.HLP file using
WINHELP.EXE or by pressing F1 during program operation for complete
information. This program is FreeWare and may be distributed freely.

To install the Molecular Weight Calculator for Windows 95/98/NT,
simply unzip the files into a program directory, for example C:\MWTWIN or
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\MWTWIN". If replacing an older version, you need to
replace the .INI and .DAT files. If you have abbreviations you want to
save, backup the MWT_ABBR.DAT file before installing. Do not move the
MSFLXGRD.OCX, COMDLG32.OCX, RICHTX32.OCX, or RICHED32.DLL files to your
\Windows\System directory since Windows will give an error message saying
they are not registered correctly.

You need to have the Service Pack 2 version of the MSVBVM60.DLL file
located in your \Windows\System directory (see below). To assure the files
are correctly registered, you may want to download the version of my
program with the Setup file from:
    http://www.unc.edu/~monroem/features95.html#autoinstall
or
    http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/9317/features95.html#autoinstall

The advantage of this file is that it correctly registers the .OCX files
listed above and places them in your C:\Windows\Sytem directory.
The downside of this file is that it is nearly 2 MB since it contains
MSVBVM60.DLL and a Setup program.

If you do not have the SP2 MSVBVM60.DLL file, you can download it from
various sites on the WWW, including:
    http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/9317/vbrun60.zip
        from my mirror at Geocities.com
    http://support.microsoft.com/download/support/mslfiles/Vbrun60.exe
        from Microsoft
    http://www.simtel.net/simtel.net/win95/dll.html
from Simtel, filename simvb6-4.zip (or something similar)
    http://hotfiles.zdnet.com/cgi-bin/texis/swlib/hotfiles/info.htl?fcode=000Y8M&b=
        from ZDNet
    http://www.softseek.com/Utilities/VBRUN_and_other_DLLs_and_Runtime_Files/Review_19823_index.html
        from Softseek.com

Note: When running the VBRUN60.EXE install file, you may get the error
message "Unable to register COMCAT.DLL" or some other .DLL or .OCX file.
If you get this message (illustrating Microsoft's stupidity), simply move
the file specified in the error message from the \Windows\System directory
to the recycle bin (or another temporary location in case the install
fails). With the file out of the way, the VBRUN60.EXE install file should
be able to correctly copy and install the file.

You can also ftp the VBRUN60.EXE file from various sites, including:
    ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/MSLFILES/VBRUN60.EXE
    ftp.zdnet.com/pub/private/sWlIB/computer_programming/libraries_custom_controls/vbrtsix.zip
    ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtel.net/win95/dll/simvb6-4.zip
