This is an instructional program for my FORMAL ETHICS book
(Routledge 1996). The book deals with the golden rule and
other formal ethical principles.

This program has Windows and DOS versions. To start the Windows
version (for Windows 3.1 or above), double click the
"ETHICS.EXE" file in Windows Explorer or Windows File Manager.
To start the DOS version (which requires 210K RAM), enter "ETH"
at the DOS prompt.

To use this software with your class, give each student a
floppy disk with these files and a sheet with the contents
of ETHICS.WRI -- which you can open and print using Windows
Wordpad (in Windows 95 or 98) or Windows Write (in Windows 3.1).

The "Gensler's Philosophy Exercises" Web page may have further
updates (http://www.jcu.edu/philosophy/gensler/ethics.htm).
This page also has a program to record and keep track of
student scores.

The exercises sets and the MultiCola engine that drives them
are copyrighted (c) 1998 by Harry J. Gensler; but they may
be distributed freely. If you have any suggestions, write me

NOTE: If you are updating an old version of this on
your disk, erase the old file ETH.EXE from your disk.
