Under 'DOS':
On the 'C:' drive create a directory named 'C:\computer'
in the root directory.

Copy the executable computer.exe to that directory.

Go to that directory and create a sub-directory named
'answers'.

Go to that sub-directory and copy the '*.ans' files to
it. Also copy the 'question.s' file to that directory.

Edit the autoexec.bat file and add an environmental variable
'USERNAME=", by adding a line like:
          SET USERNAME=Mike
Save the autoexec.bat file and re-boot your system.

Go to the directory 'C:\computer' and type the line:
    computer | more

The following screens should appear:

How and why need an additionally ignored 3rd word allowing for 'i' or 'we'
in natural questions such as: 'computer how do i make meatloaf' or 'computer
 how does mom make meatloaf'
To personalize use DOS to 'set username=-------'

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you have tested the program to your satisfaction. Either
add 'C:\computer' to your 'path' or copy computer.exe to another
directory already in your path such as 'dos' or 'bin'.

A note to parents and users: All queries are logged by username
and date and time in the 'ASCII' file 'C:\computer\answers\question.s'.
It is expected that the parent review this file each week and
add the correct answers to the appropriate answer files. It is
further expected that the 'question.s' file be purged from time
to time with the use of an ASCII editor.

All queries are 'do not match case'.

Enjoy,
Mike
