  0. Introduction

Many music programs can transpose notes with numerical values.
But what if you want to transpose chords or notes when using
the popular "chord" letters? I've never seen a program which does this,
that's why I wrote it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. General usage and program overview

Run the program, enter the chords you want to transpose (by either
double-clicking the chord-letter or clicking the "Add" button) and then
select the Transpose value in the upper right.

The chords which you entered are shown bottom-left.
The transposed chords are shown bottom-right.

The "Select Scale" choice has no effect yet. Its function
will be implemented in a later version.

  2. Author, copyright, etc.

The software (ChordTransposer) is provided "as is". In no event shall the
author be liable for any consequential, special, incidental or
indirect damages of any kind arising out of the delivery, performance
or use of this software.

The program was written by Michiel van Erp. All elements (program and
documentation) are owned by the author of this program.

ChordTransposer is a freeware. You can download and use it, without any fee.

  3. What's new?

- 1.0 (December 2001)

* Sharps & Flats are also possible
* Major, Minor, etc are enabled.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

  4. To do

* When the select scale choice it being made, the transpose amount
should change it's letters. Right now, when someone picks scale E for instance,
the transpose amount +1 would still be C#, while this should be F
