Stomper NT Client Beta 2

To run this NT-Client, you need a Stomper modemserver version 3.30 on another
workstation in your network (windows-version).
Currently only NetBEUI (NetBIOS) is supported and only lana number 0 can be
addressed. So you must set up the correct NetBEUI-protocol to be lana 0:

Under Win NT 4.0 run the control panel and select
Network/services/Netbios/properties

here you should select the protocol "Nbf->..." that is attached to your
network card and assign lana number 0 to it.

The installation is easy, though manually:

The default setting for this beta are:
COM3 and no specific Server ID.

if you are happy with this configuration (COM3 to be redirected), you may
skip the following paragraph.

To select a specific port and server id, you can create a file called
STNT.CFG in your Win-NT-directory (like C:\WINNT\STNT.CFG).
The first line contains the desired port and the second (optional) the server
id - example:

------------
COM4
ab12 <--- Ids a, b, 1 and 2 (don't specify this second line, if
------------ don't have a multiserver Stomper-license!

- You should have sufficient rights to load kernel-mode-drivers (like
  Administrator)
- copy all files in this package in any directoy. You should also copy
  STNB32.DLL into your SYSTEM32-directory.
- Run STLNKSVC.EXE. This is a 32-bit console application, that works as a
link between STCLNT.SYS and the Network DLL. In later versions this will
get replaced by a Windows NT service and will be completely invisible.

STLNKSVC will try to load and start STCLNT.SYS und zu starten. From now on
the redirected port should be available.
Make sure that STLNKSC displays this information: "Queuemanager found".
Otherwise you either don't have the windows modemserver running in your
network, or your network setup isn't correct (see above: lana number).
The driver is removed by simply pressing the enter key on STLNKSVC.

Please tell us, what you experienced. Your feedback is vital for the future
development of this package. We would also like to here from you, if it
