Windows 95/98

Pegasus CommandMailer is a graphical interface for the command-line
feature of Pegasus Mail for Win32 from David Harris; written for
those who have problems with the MAPI or Simple MAPI which came
with Pegasus Mail. GPG/PGP encryption is supported.
Pegasus CommandMailer has been tested with Pegasus Mail 3.12c, but
it should also work with other versions.

Pegasus CommandMailer is Freeware.

You can download new versions of Pegasus CommandMailer from:
http://www.bigfoot.com/~rsoft/pecomail.html

Additional files:

Pegasus CommandMailer requires the following additional system
files: - msvcrt40.dll - olepro32.dll - vb40032.dll - ven2232.olb -
If you don't find them in your system-directory (e.g. c:\windows\
system), you can download the files (zipped 615 KB) from:
http://www.bigfoot.com/~rsoft/download.html
After download, extract the missing files to your system-directory
(e.g. c:\windows\system).

Usage:

Create a shortcut to the PeCoMail.exe in your SendTo folder (e.g.
c:\windows\sendto\...) and use the "Send to" command from the
context menu of each file in Explorer.

If you want to use your "Recently-used addresses" from Pegasus,
move or copy PeCoMail.exe to your Mailbox location, e.g.
...\Pegasus\Mail\UserX. Don't forget to customize the shortcut in
your SendTo folder.

Available fields:
- "File:" A valid filename with full path
- "To:" An address in simple format, e.g. abc@def.com
- "Subj:" Anything
- "CC:" An address in simple format, e.g. abc@def.com
- "Run controls:" E.g.: /I <username> /ID <identity>
For more information about the possible "run
control options" read the Pegasus help-file.

I've noticed that not all "run control options" are supported on
the command-line. So, don't send me a mail before you have tried it
with the Windows "Run..." command.

You can also use the "Advanced Job Submission" (/J option) of
Pegasus Mail. Simply add the filename with full path (quoted) of
your *.pmo file to the address in the "To:" field, e.g.:
abc@def.com /J "C:\Pegasus\MyOwn.pmo".
For more information about the "Advanced Job Submission" read the
Pegasus help-file.

It is necessary that GPG/PGP can be found in your "Path". For more
information about GPG/PGP read the corresponding documentation.
PGP encryption works with PGP v2.6.3 (x or win32) and should also
work with the new command-line versions.

Bugs:

None at the time I wrote this file.

Limitations:

Not more than with the standard command-line feature of Pegasus,
e.g.: the sent message doesn't appear in the folder for copies to
self.

Registration:

Pegasus CommandMailer is free, but shareware programmers should
think about the fact that they got my software for free.
