General Information

Double clicking on machine names will not work in Windows '95 as it has no implementation of Universal Naming. You will need a Windows '98 or NT system to utilize this feature. However, I am told that installing Microsoft's Dialup Networking Version 1.2b may fix this problem, and allow for double clicking in Windows '95. As soon as I can verify this information, I will update this documentation.

NetWorld will not retrieve the name and workgroup associated with Windows '95 based machines. This is due to an implementation decision by Microsoft, which has subsequently been "righted" in Windows '98 and Windows NT. Don't worry though, the IP address of Windows '95 machines, will be displayed.
