				Welcome !

Program description: IPX-CHAT.COM is a DOS executable Chat program for IPX
networks. It can run under Windows too.

Hardware requirements: IBM (or 100% compatible) PC with a 8088 (or better)
microprocessor; at least a CGA video card that
provides the use of the 80x25 character based color
video mode; a configured network card

    Software requirements:  MS-DOS 2.0 (or 100% compatible) operating system;
approximately 3 KB of free RAM; an installed IPX
			    driver

Note: IPX-Chat should work with old IPX drivers, but it has only been
tested with IPX version 3.30. Please report me if IPX-Chat fails to
	   operate properly using old drivers.

The following commands can be used during 'talking':

:save : This is used to save all text to a file. The program
will ask for a filename. Only one file can be opened
			   at the same time.

:close : Closes the currently opened file. (The program will
automatically close the file on program exit even
you have forgotten to enter this command.)

Commands will be accepted with this syntax only. They won't be sent on the
    network as 'true' messages.
