Achievements/Responsibilities :
* Support to operations of plastic finishing equipment including
Nd:YAG laser machines, Color/Gloss measurement devices, Ultrasonic
welding machines and Paint film-thickness measurement equipment.
* Interface with Quality & Product Engineers, Response Team Leaders
and Product Managers to respond to corrective action reports, quality
spills, PPAP development and process variation requests.
* Support to pre-production operations  for process design/development
and DFMEA in alpha/beta pre-production stage; direct process support
and PFMEA development in prototype, pilot and LVP builds.
* Interface with Mechanical Integration Engineers, Product Prototype
Engineers and Program Leaders to evaluate and determine cost and
feasibility of customer change requests and engineering change orders
(ECOs).
* Cutter path re-digitalization project for optimal cycle time in
Laser equipment.  This project generated a total saving in avoided
equipment costs of US$900,000 to the company.
* Development of SPC techniques such as capability studies, GR&R,
control charts and histograms using Jump software.  
* DOE of manufacturing processes using the Taguchi factorial model to
minimize process variation and increase quality and yield.
* Management of 11 Process technicians and 2 Office Assistants.
