Bootminder, a Freeware safeguard
against bootvirusses.

Version 2.0
For Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0

This program will warn you if a floppy is in your A: drive when closing down Windows. This way, you will be less likely to start up again with the floppy still in the A: drive. This means: no boot-virus infection.
Bootvirusses are the most common of computer diseases.

Installation
Run install.exe
Bootminder will be copied into your Windows directory and a bootminder icon will be made in the startup program group. This way bootminder will be started automatically when Windows starts.

Convince yourself!
Bootminder will not be visible in the task-bar or the task manager.
You can only check the presence of bootminder by shutting down Windows while a floppy is in the A-drive. If everything functions correctly, you will get a warning that a floppy is in the A-drive.

Uninstallation
If you want to remove Bootminder, first remove the Bootminder icon from the startup program group.
Then restart your computer and remove bootminder.exe from your Windows directory.

Note:
Do not rename install.exe, since the program detects its own name. If it's called install.exe it will install itself. If it's called otherwise, it will function as Bootminder.

The next Bootminder version will have an automatic uninstall.
