DESCRIPTION:

Weapons patch which replaces the regular hand grenades with motion sensitive
proximity mines (like the mines in Quake Mission Pack 1).

INSTALLATION:

1) Create a directory under your Quake2 directory eg. Quake2\Mines

2) Unpack gamex86.dll into the new directory.

3) Run Quake2 with the parameter +set game Mines (or whatever you named the directory).

USAGE:

The proximity mines replace the regular hand grenades.  They are thrown in the same way,
but will not explode if they are held too long before throwing.  They will stick to any surface, and
are triggered when a player or monster moves in their immediate vicinity.  A short warning
beep will be heard before it blows up.

They can be damaged by explosions ( try laying a long line, then trigger the end mine! )

A mine will time out after about a minute.

NOTES:

This is my first Quake/Quake2 mod, so the code may not be the best possible.  I've not
had a chance to try the mines in a proper net deathmatch, as I'm stuck behind a firewall.
I would welcome feedback on how well they work.
