  Description of the Modification

has some more weapons that can be changed by pushing several times the
correspondent weapon number or by the functions cycleweapon & backcycleweapon
(impulse 10 e 12)

weapon 1 - Axe,
           Morning Star,  (modified)
           BackPack Bomb(*), (modified)
           Hologram(*),      (mine)
           Detonator(**)   (mine) (used others soure code as well)

weapon 2 - Shotgun,
           Blaster

weapon 3 - Super Shotgun,
           Super Blaster   (mine) (used others soure code as well)

weapon 4 - Nailgun,
           Blazer

weapon 5 - Super Nailgun,

           (beware blazegun you'll notice the rocket ammo vanish)

FireBall requires new kind of ammo... MANA! (self increasing)

Backpack bomb and pipebomb now explode if they sufer radius damage

Freeze gun, now makes 5 sec. of pain in players, makes damage, freezes
        monsters, and explodes them after (health <= 0) (if freezed)

freezegun shots estinguishes in liquids;
fireball & flames estinguish in water or acid;

holograms do not move but explode if touched or by order of (self)

Morning Star doesn't grab entities with health

maximum energy increased to 200

limit of energy increased to 500

ammo limits increased

  How to Install the Modification

1) Create a directory within the Quake directory called MANYGUNS.

2) Unzip the files from this archive into that directory, using the -d
   option with PKUNZIP.  Winzip will create the correct directories
   automatically.

Start registered (yeah, registered, what were you expecting ) quake
with the directive  -game MANYGUNS i.e. QUAKE -game MANYGUNS

note: -game must be in lower case

Known Bugs:

 freezer doesn't freeze players in DM, yet...
 sometimes weapons disapear if you know why do tell me...
 there are not implemented in clients.qc the ClientObituary sentences of
        fireball and hologram (not a bug but... you know...)

  Future Enhancements

 Add more guns and more powerfull weapons for Weapon 2, 3, 4 & 5

 I was thinking in adding a devastator weapon (like Duke3d)...

 also... if any of you creeps know how to work with the frames and mdl's in
  quake... i would apreiate some info on that...

 Add some more mana related stuff

Please email me at ascar@camoes.rnl.ist.utl.pt with any suggestions for
improvements or weapons to add... remember dought, I did not create any of
these weapons... they were only packed and some modified almost completely...
with the exception of the super-guns, he, he, he...
and that till today every number can only be assigned to 8 weapons but I can
put till 16, I think.

P.S. If anyone knows how to make a new kind of ammo with picture and stuff,
        without destroing the others please do tell me....
