QUAKE-C:  Unified Diff PATCH file included.  There is also a version
with just the .qc files available as k-ctf-s.zip.  Look for it if you
want the code and not the patch.  :)

-=CT=-KALWeb's CTF4.0 Modification v1.0

OK, it isn't much and it really doesn't take too much to explain it
either.  This patch (ie, you need the program called PATCH to use
it) will modify the src of your CTF4.  Get Howto.txt (I think) from
ftp.cdrom.com or where ever if you need help with this.

Anyways, included in this mod is my rather cool Droppable Runes
code.  There are two different versions.  Original and *NEW*  :)

Original is Teamplay + 2048
*NEW* is Teamplay + 4096

I am working on a Tossable Flag as well (for those hard to reach back
areas...) which will allow a 0-point capture by tossing it at the base.
This would give 1 point to the flag carrier who tossed the flag.  That
will be all at that point.  But as of now, that is not in there.  I 
will be adding to this mod (and this patch) so if you use this patch, be
sure to keep the modified code around (if you don't use it) so you can
try the new code when I modify it.  Or something like that.  :)

To see the code where I changed things, just open the .qc file in your
favorite text editor (with Search capabilities) and search for

-=CT=-KALWeb.

I have marked my modifications with the following lines of code in some
form or other...

1) Begin game and Level messages work now!!

2) Renamed Original Code to *NEW* and the cool code to Original.  Not
   to confuse anyone, but the way I originally intended the code to
   work was how the cool code turned out...

BUGS in Version 1.0!!!
======================

1) Sometimes a rune will bounce off of the player instead of being
   taken by the player.  Only happened once and I think I fixed it,
   but if you see it happen, be sure to email me and tell me what
   you were doing.  (ie which Drop Rune ver you were using, did you
   just drop a rune, etc.  Thanks)

2) A rune got stuck in the wall for about 10 minutes.  I finally had 
   to grapple up and get it down.  Hasn't happened again, but if you
   see it, take a screen shot for me.  :)

3) For some reason, I had a hard time killing myself after dropping
   the strength rune and using the TBolt underwater in ctf1.  But I
   *know* I fixed that one.  :)

Future Ideas for Version 2.0!!!
===============================

1) Tossable Flag with Tossable Capture Option

2) Flag Carrier will be a little faster but also take more damage from 
   shots and rockets.

3) Person who captures the flag will get weakened version of all 4
   runes for about 1 minute.  (Instead of 15 frags...the capturer will
   get 5 frags.)

4) I want to replace the grapple with the AirFist patch, but I think
   I will stick to this one and leave that for a *far* future release.
