* Description *

This map is a remake of a deathmatch level I made for DOOM II, giving it a
total overhaul.  This level is built around the transparent trap control
center platform, on which you'll find buttons to activate the crusher, the
laser cannon (aimed right at the only teleporter leading to the control
platform), the two cages, and to open up the pit (you fall so far you die).
Reach out and frag someone!

Single Player           : No exit and nothing to kill except time.
Cooperative             : No.
Deathmatch  2-4 player  : You better believe it!!
Skill Levels            : Makes no difference.
New Sounds              : No.
New Graphics            : No.
New Music               : No.
Base(s)                 : Made from scratch, but built keeping the theme of
                          the original (SPARTZ.WAD) in mind.

Additional Notes        : The really fun part is avoiding the traps just long
                          enough to blast your opponent off the control
                          platform!

* How To Play *

To load SPARTZ into the game, copy SPARTZ.BSP to your QUAKE2/BASEQ2/MAPS
directory and, at the game console, type:

   map SPARTZ

To play it over the modem or on a network, consult the game documentation.

* Permissions *

Authors may not use this level as a base to build additional levels without
giving me credit for the original version, as well as stating the changes
made within a text file.  Also, please don't recycle the SPARTZ name with
your modified versions.

You may distribute SPARTZ.BSP in any electronic format (Internet, Diskette,
CD, etc.) as long as you include this text file.  If SPARTZ.BSP is to be
distributed on a CD, all I expect is to hear about it..  Thanks!
