Title: :Place of No Mercy
Filename: :PONM.BSP
Author: :Luke Higgins - ^ruiner
E-mail Address: :higgs3@roadrunner.com

Description: :Well, this map started off as a part of
another deathmatch map I have going right
now. I looked at the room and decided it
was too big to be in an already fairly
large level. It was however, just a large
room with the balchony on top. I then took
it out of the other deathmatch level and
added quite a bit to it...making it the map
you are now playing and hopefully having
some DAMN good fun with :).

How to Play: :First off, you need to extract all of the
.wal files included in the .zip file into
                                 C:\quake2\baseq2\textures\quake, provided
that the C drive is the drive quake2 is
installed on. If its on a different drive
just extract it to that drive! W000! Then
you must extract the .bsp to
                                 C:\quake2\baseq2\maps. Then at the command
prompt in the Quake II directory type
Quake2 +map PONM. There you go!

Note: :Please let me know if you set up a server
with this map. I'd like to drop by and play
whenever I can! I hope everyone enjoys this
map! Feel free to e-mail me.

Other Work: :I have done many other maps, starting with DOOM.
I did "The Stagler Base" for Quake as Well as
"The Ruiner's Revulsion" for Quake. I had a
couple other Quake maps in the making but I
had a horrible HD crash and lost all of that!
This is the 1st Quake II map I have released
although, I've been editing it almost non-stop
since it's release! More to come!

*Special Thanks*

id software for the great game that allowed me to create this map

American McGee, thanks for DM4, I used it as inspiration for this level.

ION Storm - Especially, John Romero, Matt Hooper and the Recently departed
John Anderson. These guys rock, and I will hear nothing different!

Saturday Night Live - I love this show, without it, I could've gone crazy.

The Roxbury Guys (Will Farrell) and (Chris Kattan)--The movie rocks, but
aside from that, these guys are two of the best on Saturday Night live. I'd
do almost anything to work on SNL :).

Music that helped me through making "Place of No Mercy"

Thank you, KoRn, Orgy, A Night at The Roxbury Sound track, The Crystal Method
KMFDM, Future Sound of London, Rob Zombie, Queensryche. That is in no
particular order either :).

The "beta" testers for this map
Hex_ from #QuakeEd. He set up a server for this map and played a while with
me to see what it was like.

[Drizzt] Gave me some constructive input that I used to change this version
from the beta a little bit.

Thanks to all listed here very much.
