This is my first map. Constructive criticism is welcome. The
structure of the map is completely mine, but ideas for texturing
and decorations like steps and the Quad perch came from the id's
original Base maps, headshot's base-style maps, and ztn's various
maps.
The original idea was for a small, 1-on-1 (that's the kind of play
I prefer), base-style map. It wound up being a little larger than
what I wanted, but still small enough for 1-on-1.
This is my second original map. The first had the same basic
structure, but was way too big and wound up looking more like a
small single-player level than a small to medium-sized DM map.
id's original UGLY teleporter pads are "replaced" with
Quake1-style teleporters. The animated textures (tele.wal) and the
original teleporter sound (hum1.wav) are there. Hope you dig it as
much as I do.
