                          N O T E S 

Well, this level was born  under unforeseen curcumstances. I did
not  plan  to make  any  dm level for Q2, I even doing now Q1 sp 
maps. But, once upon a time [two days ago] I saw at  Multiplayer 
Quake that they has reviewed my  old Q2  dm map Rugged [released 
summer '98]. And that  pushed me to  blow the  dust off from the 
lost source for Compass. I didn't found final source for Compass, 
but half made. [Final source was vanished by the time =] Besides, 
I tired  a bit by  Quake 1 leveldesign, and I wanted  to  change
kind  of  work  for  some  time  [just for two days =]. And as a 
result you see this map. 
There are tons of bugs fixed, lightning improved, item placement 
changed and many other issues fixed and changed. Long time ago I 
wanted to  fix  these issues  but there wasn't any impulse to do 
this. And now it happened.
