this script isnt complicated , hope i can convey that to you :)
first of all a bit of credit :

i am a defensive minded person
and team games bring out the best in players

    the uptop script was originally written for q1 by a clan called UxU (unforgiven)
    sadly i think they have faded
    i have changed it for q2 and added a few $ commands

                            weapons and controls

   i use wsad for standard movement 
   backspace jump
   space crouch
   i have a split keyboard too... why?
      because you get 5 more buttons on the left side :>
       arrow cluster and backspace

1     --> trusty blaster  hahah  J/K
2     --> shotgun AND super shotgun
3     --> machinegun AND chaingun
q     --> hook that shoots till you let it go
e     --> hyperblaster
r     --> grenade launcher
f     --> rocket launcher
c     --> railgun
v     --> that hated BFG


i remaped the weapons because i believe that 7-8-9 
are too far away to make the switches without messing with 
your driving skills

i also have added to selecting the weapon you fire ,an added alias:
drop ammo .... i believe this is the second most needed 
command in Capture the Flag

 when you play , each time you select a weapon from the keys ,
 it maps the drop ammo command to just that type of ammo
my alias is self written and it doesnt work if you run out of ammo and it switches by its self
but how long do you go without selecting a different weapon?.... i thought so.
           bind uparrow "drop $ammotype"
that easy , no elaborate script to drop ammo on 7 different keys

i saw a new cool feature today too , so i am incorperating it into the script
it changes the crosshairs for a weapon and a different one for a different weapon 
i use hand 2 , so i rely on that dammed small icon in front , 
this way i see the crosshair , and i know at least what group of weaps i am using :)



ok , heres where it gets interesting 

                                  Messages and communications
    

to use my total script you MUST set your color you are playing on 
blue , red 
then it activates the proper color chat commands and ya dont sound like a dildo
incoming to ....ummm,   ummmm, what team am i on?


more on that later

i am a defensive minded person

so most of my binds are for defense and positions and helps

 a while back , i realized i was out of buttons........
what the hell.... i HAD to have this message.....
well what i did is REMAP messages when i held a button to something different

here's an example
   [T] normally says when i press it 
                                     "*** is our Base Secure? (Y/N) ***
     well if someone asked me.. i would have to manually type in or waste a key to say:
                                     "Roger that" , "Base IS secure"
                                    
set on mouse2 is my alias +messageswitch
 it remaps the [T] key when held down to say "Roger that" , "Base IS secure"
so you hold mouse2 and hit the [T] key , it fires it off  .

i have remapped a few keys that way. 
once you get the hang of it  and dont want the echo to appear 

delete this alias

 echoall


its at the top of the script
and it will silently switch them for you


the up top script is a integrated message center
heh heh at least thats what UxU said :)
it holds about 48 messages that i use 
that echos all the time for you , i still havent memorized all of them :)


last one ,
                            the map specific binds

 these control what is said for the escaping flag message  (route)
set these in game , or while its loading
its mapped to the kp_enter key 


example :
g -------------  says this "[D] escaping flag -> $loc2((ROUTE)) "
$loc2 is set by setting your map 
after that the $loc2 command is linked to elavator<>grenade_launcher 
   ( thats for q2ctf5  --- capture showdown)
