Quick Start:
------------

	2. Unzip momqb17.zip to c:\quake\mom

	3. edit the autoexec.cfg if you want.

	4. Just run the game.
		quake -winmem 16 -game mom

		maps are: drswrdmn.bsp (no exit in this map.  Kill the monsters and that's it.) 
				merlin.bsp.
				airship.bsp (no exit)
				nhaven2.bsp (unVISed.  crawl...)
				plains.bsp (no exit)
				plains3.bsp (no exit)

		works also with normal SPQ maps.  My PC will most likely be a parasite of other 
		people's maps, since I can't get anyone to do Q1 maps for me.

	This is a small portion of my attempt at a partial conversion for Quake1.  I don't 
understand a single line of Q2 DLL.  Plus a P75 can't run Q2.

	This is based on the creatures in MicroProse's Master of Magic.  Included is:

Big Fat Bugs

	My nightmare and arch angel are suffering from the same problem as the Quake dragon was,
flying through walls.  What is with that???  I think Patrick Martin fixed it, but I don't feel 
like all that good structured programming stuff where you put the slightest bit of code in a 
separate function.

How to Install the Modification
-------------------------------
Just unzip the file in a directory called mom in your quake directory.
Then start the game       quake -game mom +winmem 16
Many creatures will be stuck in walls in normal Quake.  So make some new maps yourself.

Author Information
------------------
	The old Drac was my first model and first encounter with 3D animation.  It's base frame 
was asymmetrical so it took me a while to animate (total creation time about 45 - 50 hours).  I 
think it turned out fine.
	My main concern is with the 3D models.  My code is just about all cut & paste.  At least 
it used to be.  But I think it's the most efficient way, since it's code that's been proven to 
work.  So I cut & paste as much as possible.


About Master of Magic Quake PC
----------------------------
My crap GW2k P-75 with only 16RAM & 40MB free HD space leaves me with nothing to work with.  If
 only I have $5000....  Pentium II 333 plus a whole bunch of unnecessary equipment....  then I 
might wait and get some Obsidian 3D something something with 4 Voodoo2 chips on it... 
gurrghgrhrgh.....  I do expect to have a minimum of 1 monster done every 2 weeks.  Most likely a
 lot more if I get someone to help.  Maybe 1 every 2/3 of a week due to the boosted morale.  :)

This computer limitation is really getting in the way, as a P-75 is way below what I need for 
good Hexen2 or Quake2 performance.  Hexen2 runs at 1 fps on my computer.  I don't wanna try Q2 
at all.  I'm afaid.... :)

Every part of my computer is outdated, and I'd be much better off getting a new one.  But $1,000 
is still $1,000.  When the time comes... (But that'll probably be after the end of this PC.  
Actually, it should be within a couple monsths now, since this PC is nowhere near being 
finished...)

This is why I really need help.  I can't do any maps at all.  So HELP HELP HELP!!! AAAA!  This 
PC is a total failure!  Except the monster part of course.  I take a lot of pride in my 
draconians, 'cos they just look so god damned cool...  :)   People say I'm too obsessed with 
them.  Draconians... gurrghgrhrgh...

Current work
------------

	I'm concentrating on doing all the draconian units first, since they're just slight 
alterations of the player model.  And once again, they look so cooooool...  Minor fixes for the 
player also, since the player's a drac too.  The I'm just making simple-messy-one-room-lairs, 
just to test the flying and other drac specific AI.  They don't recognize water or lava, but 
whatever.  Let's just go with "they live in a nice and dry world".  With trees if I might add.
	The basilisk hasn't been seeing much action, simply because it's AI performance sucks, 
due to it's immense clipping hull size.  It can't go up the slightest slope at all.  Is it 
something like some stupid CheckBottom() in the stupid monster-teleporting-movetogoal() ?

Help wanted!  
------------
1. Skins  (take any model with a good base frame from the pak file, and skin it.  Send it to me
		thru E-mail.  Make sure to zip it so it's not huge.)
2. HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of people to make levels.  Pleeeeeeease!  Something like the maps
	suggested below, plus made specially for this PC.
3. Sound	It's amazing what a huge difference having sound in the game does to the 
		enjoyableness of a patch.  After The Fall had that.  I want that too.

You may distribute this Quake modification as long as all the files in
	this archive remain unmodified.
you may decompile the progs.dat and do what ever you want with it.  My code's pure crap.
You may NOT use any of my monsters in your TC's or partial conversions or compilations or 
	anything.  (E-mail me and ask if you want.  I'll laugh in your face and ridicule your 
	inferior modeling abilities.  Mua ha ha!!)
You may NOT include this in any compilation CD or anything for profit.

	Summing it up, you may touch the progs.dat, and nothing else.

really have much resemblence to their game anyway, except it has a medieval fantasy theme, and I
