Partial Quake Conversion

Map features new Duke textures, jetpack, holodude, freeze gun,
pipebombs, exploding toilets and chicks. You know the drill.


New for v2.1: The Kart model is finally solid
              New title message to reflect version number

New for v2.0: Improved Duke Enforcer skin (slight model change also)
              Duke Gibs (head, torso, legs)
              Added Player.mdl Duke skin for Deathmatch (use color "6")


Features:   Freeze gun QC patch
            Pipepbomb QC patch
            Jetpack QC patch
            Holodude QC patch
            Quake Command's Kart model
            (just for show, not for driving.)
            Duke Nukem textures and sounds
            Exploding Walls patch
            Duke Nukem skins

To install:

 Unzip dukepc.zip to your Quake directory.
 ("pkunzip -d" or "Use Folder Names" selected in Winzip)
 This will create a /duke3d subdirectory.
 
 The duke3d.bsp (located in /duke3d/maps subdirectory) can
 be copied to the /id1/maps subdirectory for those wishing
 to use the map alone with regular Quake.
 

To play:

 Simply type: duke3d 

       or

 quake -game duke3d +map duke3d


Bind a key to these impulses:

IMPULSE 20     Spawn a holodude (if one already exists, he
(default=H)    terminates) *** IT COSTS 10 HEALTH and 5 ROCKETS
IMPULSE 21     Detonate a holodude (messy)
(default=D)
IMPULSE 22    Telebind with a holodude (swap positions)
(default=S)
IMPULSE 23    Move toggle - hitting this will toggle if the
(default=A)   dude moves or not
IMPULSE 61    Throw pipebomb
(default=P)
IMPULSE 62    Detonate pipebomb
(default=O)

Hitting jump-key twice fast activates jetpack (if ya got it).


The exit (to start map) is behind the toilet.


Tested against reaper bots. There are 8 deathmatch starts.
Built in about 10 days.
QBSP: 3.5 minutes
LIGHT -EXTRA: 6.5 minutes
VIS -LEVEL 4: about .5 hour.
Bugs: A couple, but none that effect gameplay. I did
get the holodude to crash me to dos, but have been
unable to duplicate what I did. Could never figure
out how to make the jeeps solid either.
