Duke Nukem's Revenge.
Partial Quake conversion

Map features new Duke textures,
jetpack, holodude, freeze gun,
pipebombs, exploding toilets and
chicks. You know the drill.


Ripped off: Freeze gun QC patch

            Quake Command's Kart model
             (just for show, not for driving.)
            Duke Nukem textures and sounds
            Exploding Walls patch
            Duke Nukem skin            

To install:

Unzip the .pak file to a subdir under your Quake
directory. Copy the duke3d.bsp to either /id1/maps
or make a maps directory under your duke directory.
Fo idiots that's "pkunzip -d" or "Use Folder Names"
selected in Winzip.

To play:

quake -game duke3d +map duke3d

Bind a key to these impulses

IMPULSE 20      Spawn a holodude (if one already exists, he
               terminates) *** IT COSTS 10 HEALTH and 5 ROCKETS
IMPULSE 21      Detonate a holodude (messy)
IMPULSE 22      Telebind with a holodude (swap positions)
IMPULSE 23      Move toggle - hitting this will toggle if the
               dude moves or not
IMPULSE 61     Throw pipebomb
IMPULSE 62     Detonate pipebomb

Doublespace (hitting space twice fast) activates jetpack if ya
got it.


The exit (to start map) is behind the toilet.

Tested against reaper bots. There are 8 deathmatch starts.
Built in about 10 days.
QBSP: 3.5 minutes
LIGHT -EXTRA: 6.5 minutes
VIS -LEVEL 4: about .5 hour.
Bugs: A couple, but none that effect gameplay. I did
get the holodude to crash me to dos, but have been
unable to duplicate what I did. Could never figure
out how to make the jeeps solid either.
