* How to Use *

Put the .bsp file into your id1\maps\ directory (folder)
(create it if you don't have it yet),
Start up a new Quake or GLQuake game in the mode you want to play.
(single, multi-player, reaperbot, etc)
drop down the console (~ key) and type
"skill x" (no quotes) with x being 0, 1, or 2 (easy, normal, or hard)
and hit "Enter"
"map wishes"  (no quotes).
and hit "Enter"

* Other Info *

This was originally a pretty good Deathmatch level for Quake.
I worked long and hard to turn it into a good single-player level.
There have been many changes, additions and improvements
made since that version. It's probably about twice as big and
takes about four or five times longer to compile.
It's still a fun Deathmatch level and plays great with ReaperBots.
I play-tested Deathmatch with reaperbots on a Pentium 100
and didn't notice any significant slowdowns.
I think I got rid of all the spots where r_speeds exceeded 500
(middle number) and there are very few where it goes over 450.
Most areas are much lower than 400.

You can get the Pentagram, but it's pretty useless in single-player.

The spike shooters were added mainly because reaperbots would
get hung up on the edge of the Well and were too good at using
the teleports. They don't really affect single-player too much.
Occasionally they cause packet overflow, don't worry about it.

The moving rafts don't seem to slow things down much at all.
ReaperBots seem to suicide in the slime a lot,
going after backpacks, I guess.

Polygon ][ for Quake got the TLKA rating from crash's SPQ Page,
a 93 rating from Talon's Strike, and a Killer Map Award.

I'd appreciate any comments, so let me know what you think.

Don't forget to read the fine print at the bottom.

***********************************************************
To build this version, I ran a batch file with -level 4 Vis,
light -extra, etc.
Here's the output from Worldcraft's Process Window
from a slightly earlier build.
The map was called wishes3 at that time.
