A fan of TF since I first played it; it was
inevitable that I make my own TF map. Oh yeah,
and it also works with GLQuake! Hopefully this
will encourage more people to buy a 3DFX card...

Thanks to >V< Someone for allowing us the use of
his banner textures, and to HGK for having a
friendly match with us on it to test.

Thanks to everyone else who helped and for all the ideas and tips!

Map # : JAWRAW1

Base : A UAC facility on Phobos. Oh, I mean, all new
                          level from scratch!

Build Time : About 18 hours for the design, a few days of
playtesting and revising things. About a week
getting rid of that damned graying out..

Programs used : QuArK v4.03
                          EntEd v2.05b

May Not Run With... : Capture the Flag or without the TF patch!

Known Bugs : Unfortunately, the blue team's respawn room doors
sometimes flicker in and out of view if you back up
into the corner underneath the upper ramps. If you
know how to fix this please let us know. Ditto for
the door to the sniper deck.

 LEVEL QUESTIONS
ͼ
 Q. How do I get to the Quad Damage?

 A. Any character class can get up the Quad by either rocket or grenade
jumping over there. Naturally, the Soldier has an easy time doing this
while a Scout has the hardest time doing it. If using a grenade, you have
to play around with different angles until you can get it right. I did
this on purpose because once a Scout has a Quad, he can kill any class
fairly easily with his shotgun. Soldiers, on the other hand tend to gib
themselves when rockets are this powerful, so it balances out.

 Q. How do I open the grates in the water?

 A. Use a detpack to blow them open; everyone sees a message letting them
know when you have done so.

 Q. Will there be a JawRaw2?

 A. Yes, not only to fix any bugs but also to add new textures. If you
have ideas or suggestions on any of this; feel free to e-mail us.

Authors had better NOT use this level as a base to build additional
levels, or else I'll do something very cruel and painful to you!
