Title : Mike's Doom Quake
Filename : mdq.zip
Author : Michael Cugley
Email Address : michael.cugley@virgin.net
Description : This is my attempt at converting the Doom
                          Shareware levels (E1M1 - E1M9) to Quake. I
haven't seen just those levels done, so I
thought I would. Besides, it seems to me
that if you're going to publically distribute
levels based on DOOM, you should only do
those levels that ID Software have already
                          released publically.

* Construction *

Base : From Scratch, copying from DOOM shareware levels
Editor(s) used : Quake Army Knife, Version 4.07, and DoomCAD 6.1 to view the DOOM levels
MipDip and Paint Shop Pro 4 for the textures
Known Bugs : One brushface in E1M1 vanishes, leaving big hole to
examine The Outside through. Tres strange.
                          No qbsp or vis errors.
Framerate drops with a lot of barrels around. May have to make
                          a less brush-intensive version.
Build Time : Started 14th May 1998

Comments : Texture alignment not finished. No
