Makin' levels is hard work...heh...gettin some credit's even harder...
--remember ACTURA? i made this sign for GYRO GEARLOOSE to put into his 
future levels...He's the first 3rd party monster patch level editor i know 
of and he made some levels for my creature includin' PLUMBER for my snakeman...

* The DRILL *

i'd like to see some more levels made for my monsters, so because o' this
i'm gonna make one of these signs for each of you who do...heh...isn't
quake great?...

You can then implement these signiatures in whatever level you make 
thereafter...heh....(just give me some credit)

* What it does *

Well, it can do alot of things... But basically it just sits there rotatin'
(i'd like to see a brush do that...heh)...you'll need to shoot it to get to 
100% kills (i made it into a monster).
---this way the die hards'll want to find it (heheh...hide it), and shoot it...
.for the 100%...You can also make a path for it (again just like a monster)...
it'll just float to each link...heh...
And of course place your camera on it so when the player exits, it'll show...

just in case:
-make a directory gyro in your quake directory
-copy progs.dat file into it
-make a subdirectory called maps
-copy gyro.bsp into it
-make a subdirectory called progs
-copy gyro.mdl into it

-start quake as   quake -game gyro +map gyro
