How to use this map:
Copy the house.bsp file into your quake\id1\maps directory.
Then run quake.
In the console, type "map house" (without the quotes)

On some machines, the map doesn't work out of Windows, but
if you shutdown to DOS it works fine. I prefer this anyway.

* Other Info *

This is my first crack at a Quake map, but I have built maps
for the illustrious Duke Nukem game. I think it turned out
well. If you haven't guessed, it is a map of my house. Two
stories, with an attic and garage, and a wrap around porch.
I made an intensive effort to make it EXACTLY like my actual
house. I used my house's blueprints heavily and made about
a hundred trips to various parts of my house making sketches
and memorizing various tiny details. I've had it thoroughly
tested to fine tune the placement of various weapons to even
the playing field. If you're interested, the level contains
about 3600 brushes. Maybe more. This, of coarse, is why
the file is so large. Please try it out and give me some
feedback. I spent about a month working on it about 40 or
more hours a week (rather than work) building the thing, so
some feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.
