FLS--The Quake Level
-----------------------------------------
The Story

After defeating the minions of Quake and kicking Shub-Niggurath's butt personally, you find
a large slipgate down a musty corridor of her lair. "This must be one of the ways Quake sent his army
to Earth," you think.
Surely enough, after you walk through, you end up inside your base, your home away from home.
You are amazed at what you see.
A few battle-hardened soldiers sit at a table, swapping stories and downing beers. The walls are blood-
spattered, and shells and appendages are strewn about the floor. Some parts are human. Some belong to the
creatures you know all too well.
The soldiers are astounded. You came from Slipgate C-7. Only monsters have come from that one,
and as long as anyone can remember, it is a one-way device.
They direct you to the commander's office, not wanting to argue with you. Almost no one messes
with you when you have an axe the size of yours.
You are engaged in a heated conversation with the commander.
"Where were you?" he asks. "Everyone thought you were dead!"
"I've only been in there for a few weeks," you reply.
"You've got to be kidding! It's been a year and a half since the first battle."
	"No way!"
	"Yes way!"
"So, time passes at different rates in the two different worlds?"
	"Apparently."
After a pause, the commander speaks up.
	"So, how was it?"
"What do you mean, how was it? It was horrible! You wouldn't believe some of the creatures I faced!"
	"Don't be so sure."
	"Why do you say that?"
"Because the second wave of monsters Quake sent to Earth dwarfed the first wave."
"Really? Is that what I missed?"
"Yeah! They started coming to all points on the globe! At first, the humans were overrun. But then,
all the countries of the world pooled their resources. It was World War III. But, after a few nuclear strikes and
countless battles, we defeated them. They either died or returned to their homeworld. Not one has come back."
"So I busted my butt for nothing?"
	"Who knows."
"Hmmm." You think hard about what you have just heard.
"Did you ever meet Quake?" the commander inquires.
	"Nope."
"I'd like to get one shot at him."
	"You'd never make it."
	"I'll pretend I didn't here that."
And with that, he dismisses you.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The time is six years later. You are quite bored with your life. You hang out at the base, drawing a
paycheck from the government. Since no monsters have been seen since they left, you've got nothing to do.
But Quake will never give up, and they come storming back. Their first launching point was a military
base, but with newer technologies, they start somewhere a little less armed. They pick a small town, Fort Smith,
in Arkansas of the U.S. They appear first at First Lutheran School. Naturally, they are defenseless. Your
base receives a radio transmission on the emergency band.
"Unknown atrocities are appearing everywhere! It's almost as
if they are teleporting! They have killed so many innocent
people! We must evacuate the building! If anyone is listening,
send help NOW! ANYONE!! Must...seal...off...the building...Must
		...hurry..."
The commander has heard your complaints of boredom many times. Since you are adept at taking out
these horrible creatures, he assigns you this job, not wanting to endanger many of his few surviving recruits.
He informs you that since they plan to use this school as their HQ, they have probably made a few structural
changes, like adding traps, dimming lights, and adding torches. But he also tells you that since this attack was
made rather recently, they are probably not expecting a retalitatory strike. You nod hurriedly, wanting to get to it.
They send you through a teleporter to the school. As you enter the front door, you cock your trusty
twelve gauge.
	"Here we go again."
