Description             : Fearless Dissension

         Chapter I : Fearless Dissension

         In a long and hard war the kingdom of your royality
         has been destroyed. You felt the thirst of revenge.
         So you started to find the one who was responsible
         for this massacre. 

	 After four days and nights you found the arenal of 
         your opponent.

         It was a dark and tight woodland. You stepped into
         it. Overall you found carcasses and dead bodies.
         This look remembered you to your own province and 
         you was sure to be on the right way.

         The deeper you got into the woodland the darker and 
         closer it became. Suddenly you heard a screem but it 
         wasn't able for you to locate it. Then you heard 
         steps behind yourself but there was nothing to see.

         All this dreadfull impressions and sounds made you
         become more and more anxiety.

         You walked faster after hearing again steps behind you.
         The steps was getting closer now. You begun to run 
         through the forest. You looked backward and you saw 
         some dark knights following you. They wanted to punish
         cause they raised their long iron sword. You encountered 
         30 knights getting closer to you but in your riffle were 
         only 25 bullets left in.
         
         As you appeared to a clearing you heard a silent whisper
         from the right. You decided to follow it. The whispering
         was getting louder. Suddenly you felt into a dark hole
         at the ground.

         You felt in a faint. After your awakening you found
         yourself in a big hall with some monsters.

         Now you had to find the exit and beat all this scary
         monsters. You wanted to escape but there was no
         way to.

         You had to prove yourself now.

Anything else           : This is the first Quake level I've done.
                          I know there are some bugs still left in
                          but I think it's still playable.
                          I've vised this level with level 4 to
                          speed up the gameplaying even on not so
                          fast systems.
                          The complete calculation of this level
                          took 9 hours.

                  running Win95 B-Release and registered Quake v1.09
                  (WinQUAKE)
Known Bugs      : Sometimes the secret - trigger fails;
                  the platform in the upper region move into the ground;
                  a wall in the upper region is to long and so there
                  is no real corner;
                  when loading the map file under Quake v1.06 the 
                  console reports that three walkmonsters stucks in
                  a wall. I have not found stucked monsters during
                  playing the level on skill 1;

Distribution of this level is wanted. Give it to yours friends
and your parents. If you want to include this here in any
compilation please only inform me about it. You always has to
include my text files and give me credits.

To load this map, you should do the following:
- Put the .bsp files in your /quake/id1/maps/ subdirectory. 
- From the DOS prompt, type: 'quake +map fdissens'
- OR in Quake at the console type: 'map fdissens'
  
   Ed -- If the level is to easy for you enter at the Quake another
         skill ['skill 2','skill 3'] and reload the map.
