Darcy Boese (possum@chardonnay.niagara.com) for showing me the light.

All you guys slugging it out on the HexenII servers. Rock!

           and of course,
Raven Software For all the hard work and diligent maintenance!
This all belongs to Raven. I am nothing.
You guys rule. Esp. you, Gummelt!
                and
id Software For Quake. Esp. JCarmack. If I saw you in
public, I'd screech like a '67 Beatles fan.

Type of Mod
-----------
HexenC : yes
Sound : no
MDL : no

Format of HexenC
----------------
unified diff : no
context diff : no
.hc files : yes
progs.dat : yes

Description of the Modification
-------------------------------
If you follow instructions, this, when installed on a server,
will make sure that the player local to a listen server will
absolutely NOT be able to use the create command.

How to Install the Modification
-------------------------------
I've included the progs.dat and copies of the modified HC files.

To use the progs.dat, go to your HexenII base directory.
Make a subdirectory and call it what you will. Try "NoCreate", for example.
Then run HexenII adding "-game NoCreate" to the command line.

To use the modified code, simply start with whichever code base
you want. If you start with clean Raven code, just copy my modded files
into the same directory, overwriting the old ones. If you are adding
NoCreate into your own mod, you should search for "phayyde" in the
modified files. Whenever you bump up against a "phayyde" comment,
it means you need to translate that code over to your codebase.
The mods are simple and intuitive. You should have no problem at all.

BUGS
----
Why, certainly! Currently, my hc mods can't tell the difference between
a person attempting to use create and a person breaking a barrel to
spawn the artifact inside. This will be fixed in the next version,
if possible. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please, please
email me at phayyde@hexenworld.com. This problem is rocking my
world.

BUG FIX LOG
-----------
Cosmos cheat "re-fixed"
Darcy Boese pointed out to me that the Cosmos cheat worked with
the Version 0.9 of NoCreate. I didn't even believe it at first.
Darcy was patient enough to remail me urging me to test it. I did.
There it was. The Cosmos cheat in regged code. I don't know who
put it there. Raven? eman? I only know it wasn't me. Anyway,
I yanked it out and so this version of NoCre8 has no Cosmos cheat.
Thank Darcy Boese.
