
WHATS NEW for DEU PM 5.3 Release 1.1d Dec 8, 1995

- Hexen wads now supported. DEU only saves the current
  BEHAVIOR (Script) of the current Map.

- Improved Scrollbars.

- Changed F5 Preferences.  You can now Load and Save default
  editor values (wall textures, step textures, sector height).
  2 Preference files are included: DOOM.PRE and HEXEN.PRE.

- Added texture size and # of patches status in Edit Linedef dialog.

- Fixed bugs from v1.1c

- MORE Hexen support. You can now save HEXEN wads. Yahoo!
  Deu only saves the current BEHAVIOR (Script) of the current
  Map.

- Reset focus to main window after starting DEU. (Maybe nobody
  noticed this).


WHATS NEW for DEU PM 5.3 Release 1.1b Nov 13, 1995

- MORE Hexen support. You can view the maps and move objects around.
  You can now edit things, linedefs, or sectors and vertexes but edit
  dialogs are not complete.
  (It's being worked on.)

- Added Sector ceiling and floor heights to for each sidedef in
  Linedef info window.
  Example: "Sector: #1 C:216 F:-56"

- Zoom now works correctly. Zoom in at mouse pointer position.



WHATS NEW for DEU PM Release 1.1a Nov 10, 1995

- Hexen support. You can view the maps and move objects around
  but you can't save or edit things, linedefs, or sectors.
  (It's being worked on.)

- You can now test your wads WITHOUT exiting DEU PM! YES!

- Scroll map with arrow keys by 8 units.

- Group and mark objects without redrawing map.

- Zoom focal point to mouse pointer instead of screen.

WHATS NEW for DEU PM Aug 14, 1995

- Added Scale and Grid info to status bar.

- Info boxes have colored text dependent on selected objects, missing textures, etc.

- Map drawing and highlight objects is ~50% faster.

- If there is an unsaved WAD, Deu will confirm that you want to continue if you:
  Quit, Open a Wad, Edit Level, or Create level.

- Mark objects with rubber band box added. Press and hold SHIFT key then press button 1,
  form rectangle, release button 1. Objects are then marked.

- Added Checks Menu.

- Added F2 Save and BSP build but not 100% done. USE WITH CAUTION.

  Save bug AFTER using BSP build.
  1) Save wad file works fine.
  2) Save and build works fine.
  3) Save again and DEU return "error reading file".
     This is in the CopyBytes() function


- Objects menu DONE!

- Recompiled ALL Deu PM with C/C++ compiler.  You can now compile with either C or C++ compiler.

- converted code using LevelPtr level to MapInfoPtr mapw_info.

To compile use DEU.MAK


  To edit object -    Hightlight with mouse and press either ENTER key or
                      double-click with left mouse button.

  To mark objects -  Press and hold Ctrl button and single click with left mouse button.
                     Or highlight object and press 'm' key

  To delete object(s) - Press Delete key

  To insert object    - Press Insert key



- Edit dialogs are done except for drawing sprites and textures.

- Info dialogs are done.

- Jump function added.

- Insert and delete objects added.

- Move mouse pointer with left, up, right, and down keys

- Press 'm' key to mark objects

- Scrollbars in edit window added.
