WAD DESCRIPTION/INFO: *(You should read this if you are having difficulty
understanding the purpose of the levels various
                       features)*

This wad has several cool features and tricks that I have never
seen implemented before. I theived the offsets for the teleporter with
the MARBFAC2 texture from a wad called THEKULT (author unknown) and
expanded on the idea. Many hours were spent attempting to get this
  level just right.

BFG TRAP: (crush! your BFG loving opponents)
The idea behind the BFG trap was for an unsuspecting
player to ride the lift up and grab the BFG thus causing walls to rise
reveiling "DIE" in plain view of the cage and a nifty push-button switch.
As the happy smiley player sets off for a cheap frag he gets teleported
into the brightly lit trap and stays there until another player happens
along and trys to frag him. Player 2 will notice that he is unable to harm
player 1 by conventional methods so he sees the switch on the wall and
moments later a distraught player 1 is crushed to death. (kewl huh!)
Once a player knows about this why should he go after the BFG ?
There is a way out..you must trigger the blue skull switch in the BFG
alcove while the crushing ceiling is up (otherwise the escape door will not
open all the way) this will allow you access to a teleporter (after you
open the secondary door in the cell).if you are the first player through
the trap you will be invulnerable upon reaching your destination.

  Various info:
To make the long jump across the MAIN stairway
(through the window)<you must be able to run at
an angle while strafing, this gives an artificial
turbo. You will not make the jump any other way
so watch my cheesy demo if you do not understand.>

*UPDATE: In this latest ver. you NO longer have to
run at angle to make the jump, too many people
just could not handle this simple jump so to stop
all pouting and since this isn't supposed to be an
obstacle course I made it easier, but angle running
will definately improve your chances. I also modified
several other things as well: fixed a column so
that it can no longer be fired through, added
another teleporter to help shrink the level down,
changed weapons placement, and got rid of the
megasphere on difficulty levels 3-5 since it
is now easier to get too, etc.

While putting the John Romero heads in the area behind the
the goatface/big wall. I discovered that the thing itself was
an exit so I had to make an invisible wall like the one in
the BFG trap to keep players from blasting the heads and
                causing the level to end.

  TO PLAY THIS PWAD* type...
                      doom2 -file (dir.path of pwad) masochst.wad

*TO RUN DEMO* make sure masochst.lmp, masdemo.bat, and masochst.wad
are in your doom2 directory and type..
" masdemo " (demo was recorded under ver 1.9)
if your wad is in a different directory you can still
run the demo as long as masdemo.lmp is in your doom2
                      directory by typing ..
                      doom2 -file <path>masochst.wad -playdemo masochst

* NOTE: Difficuly levels 1&2 Are designed more for a little bit different
kind of deathmatch. You will have less of the other weapons but
more rocket launchers for distance kills, chainsaws and berserk
packs for up close and personal.
