Description : This is the source code release of Boomlightgen,
			  a tool to create a day/night cycle
in Boom using a generated WadC script,
as seen in the map The Last Sanctuary. It
''computes'' a changing light cycle through
			  linedefs/sidedefs using this script.

Additional Info by Red	: According to the author, Boomlightgen takes light
values of all sectors with tag>10000 and generates
a script for WadC, which builds a "voodoo doll script"
for day/night cycle. The only big disadvantage of this
method is big linedefs/sidedefs usage (50% of the map
		          is day/night cycle "script").

An advanced version also exists, which can build
different lighting for night based on 2 wads which
are identical except for light levels (so first
wad is day light, the second wad is night light)
The cost is 2x more linedefs/sidedefs.

This release should contain most things needed to
compile a working Boomlightgen executable. The ''copy''
folder is more recent and contains a debug exe. The
compiled executable should ideally be used with
WadC, for its script was made for that program.

The debug executable (boomlightgen.exe) will ask for
			  libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll, make sure your equivalent
CodeLite, Code::Blocks or MinGW installation includes
			  this.

The code is provided ''as-is''. It is uploaded for
historical preservation and educational purposes only.
You may study its contents, but the code is unsupported.
I have prepared this package for inclusion on /idgames.
