Description           :   These are essentially the same four levels found in
                        my original "daedalus" WAD, but they have been 
                        added to (in some cases, very extensively) and
                        generally improved.  This second release is
                        considerably harder than the first.
                          My first release of these levels got no feedback
                        at all, so I'm presuming they weren't that great.
                        whatever the case, these levels are BETTER.  If you
                        like these levels, please let me know!!
                          Individual level descriptions:
                        
                        Level 01 - "Outpost"
                        - Once a private mansion, this building has been
                        extensively "remodelled" by its new inhabitants.  The
                        result is a complex maze of traps, made all the more
                        hellish by the presence of undead sentries.
                        
                        Level 02 - "Power Plant"
                        - This massive nuclear facility was abandoned after
                        Earth's invasion, and since then has undergone a
                        series of major technical problems.  The worst threat
                        in this area, aside from its many infernal 
                        inhabitants, is the stations highly-irradiated water
                        supply.  Here, as before, the hell-spawn have added
                        some personal touches...

                        Level 03 - "The Chapel"
                        - This level is not large, but it is very, VERY nasty.
                        Here the invaders have overtaken and re-fortified a
                        system of ancient ruins.  The Chapel, an unholy temple
                        built deep into the side of a mountain, may well be
                        your greatest challenge yet.
                        
                        Level 04 - "Courtyard"
                        - From your beginning vantage point, this castle's 
                        huge courtyard looks deceptively peaceful.  Not for
                        long, though... and this is only the first area you
                        must pass to defeat this huge level.  There are more
                        than enough monsters and traps in this area to make
                        you seriously consider an early retirement.


Notes                 :   Taken individually on Ultra-Violence mode, some of
                        these levels are nearly impossible (at least for me!).
                        However, if you play all four in order you should get
                        enough weapons and bonuses to survive.  Well... maybe.
                          Also, please note that i did not really design these
                        as Deathmatch levels.  Go ahead and try them that
                        way -- if they actually work, E-Mail me and let me
                        know.  I would also be extremely grateful for any
                        comments and suggestions -- I'm very new at level
                        construction, and can use all the input I can get!

Cooperative 2-4 Player  : Maybe...
Deathmatch 2-4 Player   : Maybe...
Difficulty Settings     : All. The levels have only been extensively tested 
                          on Ultra-Violence mode, though...
New Sounds              : Yes... LOTS.  I should note now that many of the 
                          sounds in this WAD are copied from other sources --
                          sources to numerous to mention (or, at any rate,
                          to numerous for me to remember).  If you hear one
                          of your own sounds in here, E-Mail me so I can 
                          give you a personal apology!
New Graphics            : Yes. I had some new sprites that I wanted to add,
                          but unfortunately I had no way of making these
                          usable for people without special WAD utilities.
New Music               : No.
Demos Replaced          : None

* Construction *

Base                    : Built from scratch.
Editor(s) used          : WinDeu 5.23, Warmdos (builder), NWT (WAD 
                          manipulator), MVP Paint (crappy artwork).
Known Bugs              : I don't _know_ of any.

Authors may use these levels as a base to build additional levels, so long
as they make some mention of them in their own text files.

You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this text file. You 
may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) 
as long as you include this file intact.
