MAP08: Demonic Caprice

DESCRIPTION: My second map for DOOM 2 UNLEASHED and the first one made (almost) completely since the
start of the project. Theme-wise, it's an industrial/computer center of some sort that's
been heavily overrun and corrupted by Hell. The layout is extremely simplistic, but hopefully the
visuals shouldn't be too unappealing. Gameplay-wise, this was something of a experiment in building a map 
that would unfold different ways depending on how the player played it, with particular groups of teleporting
monsters being fought in very different environments depending on when the player triggered them, and other 
such things. I haven't ever heard of this being done before, though it may well have. And I imagine it 
would be much easier to do with scripting, but I wanted to find a way to do it in "vanilla" mapping. 
I think I succeeded. What the resulting gameplay is like will be a matter of personal taste.

DESCRIPTION: A map inspired upon all that 32 grid russian maps (Like 32innail.wad, but this one isn't so
cool), sets in infamous secret 4chan.org servers. Destroy the /d/ channel, get some sick shit from			  
/rs/, save yotsuba and kill pedobear and his own companions. Oh, obviously this is doom and here			  
we don't got yotsuba and pedobear, so kill a mancubus and get a yellow key. This isn't a so
serious map, as you read here or playing the map itself... This one is slightly E1 themed and there's 
also few city stuff at the begining.

DESCRIPTION: A rather large non linear tech base with loads of interesting detail. Hard gameplay in some areas, 
so expect some sudden traps. Textures I used are an mixed bunch of favourite ones and an couple I hardly never 
use in large quantities, so it has an unusual look to it. This is one of my best maps I made so far, the layout 
turned out to be very cool. I almost deleted this map when it was still in its early stages of development.
I'm glad that it didn't got that far :) So enjoy this map, and let me know what you think of it.

it looks classic doom 2 style IMO, and as you seen from the title, i tried to do a city-style
map (mostly map12 and map20), i hope to do it right....

that Doom is still alive. And that there are more user-frienly doom level editors... like Doom Builder.

DESCRIPTION: This is a combination of the two best maps from a small set I was trying to make a few years ago
but I never finished. When pcorf announced his community project, I figured I'd use it as an
excuse to let them see the light of day. Since one of them was pretty short on its own and the                         
other one not that much longer, I decided to combine them into one. Now, although it's still                         
painfully linear as far as route goes, it should provide a nice excursion. Gameplay-wise, the                         
action is dominated by several different teleporting monster hordes (ironically a gameplay                          
style I don't so much care for anymore, but I'm not going to completely rework the gameplay at                          
this point). There are also some setpiece fights. Should be plenty of health and ammo. No                                                  
difficulty settings, but I completed both maps from a pistol start back when they were separate                       
maps, and I'm hardly the world's greatest Doomer.                          
                                               
Plotwise (heh) I had in mind that the demons, in digging out new subterranean warrens in the                         
bedrock of Hell, had broken through into the remnants of a civilization predating the current                          
infernal epoch, tunnels and chambers built of familiar green stone yet slightly alien to                         
standard demonic architecture. The player was to find the breach, navigate through the demon                        
archaeologists' complex, and explore the ruins. Of course, now that it'll be part of a larger                         
mapset, I guess you're just using the ruins as a shortcut to the boss level or something... :P

MAP32 Morgue Theft

DESCRIPTION:  Difficulty settings are not really implemented, but there are coop starts. Only partially 
tested, as  in it took 35 minutes to get to the corridors before the red key and then I tested the exit via 
noclipping/idkfa. Got a rough test of the red key fight, and the cacodemons that were originally 
in the closet caused too many problems.

It's easier to go both paths before getting the blue key, or you start running into monsters on 
the other path plus the new stuff, which can be a big problem if you do the teleport to the 
yellow key before clearing out the west wing.
