Baal Hadad: Story

Map 01
You awake behind a crate, unaware of your surroundings. The landscape looks weird, almost... natural. Strange, you think to
yourself, your homeplanet had been completely covered with pavement, bricks, concrete, steel, you name it, they built it. In-
stead of trees, you had oxygen towers, instead of grass, you had astroturf, instead of water, you had toxic sludge that tasted
like lemonade mixed with apple juice. As you stand up, you hear shouting and yelling on the other side of the crate. You peek
over and see a nasty sight: demons and flesheaters, fresh from recent slaughter. There's a bridge too, rotten and decrepit.
The water is filled with decomposing fish skeletons, and there is a terrible stench from the ripped flesh and the sweat of
Satan's strongmen. The trees are dead, and the oxygen is sparse. You duck behind the crate. Thinking quickly, you open up the
crate ever so slightly, and rummage around. A pistol, fifty bullets, and a helmet. You put on the helmet, just as one of the
flesheaters turns around. Flesh meat, let's go you brain-dead motherfuckers!

Map 02
The skull was cold, and as you grabbed it, it felt as if something or someone was grabbing you. You awake from the dream,
finding yourself sitting down behind a concrete pillar. The wilderness, the zombies, the fat-fuck hiding behind the rocks, it
was all a dream. You are relieved, but also disturbed, when you notice that the shotgun and machinegun you picked up by the
stream are laying beside you. The feeling is only amplified by the low, hushed growling of a large demon down the hall.

Map03
The door opens up into a vast, empty darkness. Fear creeps into your heart, but you enter anyways. After several minutes, your
body rises up out of the blackness into a bland, cramped corridor. With weapons in hand, you prepare for the worst, when you
hear the voice of a man ahead: "Für die Vaterland!" it says, and another voice replies "Gott mit uns! Sieg heil!".
Nazis. Not Neo-Nazi thugs, bent on the destruction of society, but actual, organized Nazis. It sounds like there are two out
there, trying to protect themselves from the demons. Let's hope they don't start shooting at you...

Map04
The room collapses as you press the button, and you fall for what seems like ten, maybe twenty hours. Is this the end? You
finally fall into a pit of ooze. The slime cushions the fall, keeping you alive. When you finally get up, quivering in fear,
you notice a door. You scramble towards it, open it up, and enter into what looks like a makeshift armory. The door quickly
snaps shut with demonic force behind you, and you're left alone. You assume that there may be demon's ahead, but you can't be
certain, the rattling of pumps masking any possible noise. You feel a terrible chill, and a voice from hell starts whispering
soft, choir-like tones into your ears: "Eht yug omod ni hisere! Teg nadihm kimillh!" That's what makes you snap. The anger,
the fear, the dreams, all have built up, but now what kills your patience the most: the sung gibberish of Ahriman himself.
You're read to do whatever it takes to kill these demon bastards, you're ready to stare at the face of the Devil, and spit in
his eyes. You rip off your helmet, breathe in the toxic fumes of the underground, and prepare yourself for war!

End
As you jump into the stange portal, you are whisked away to a kingdom of concrete, silver and steel. Sitting upon a throne made of jewels sits an
idol of the beast from the underground. Rain pours upon it, quickly corroding it. Behind it lays another idol, this one made
from solid metal. It is a distorted shape, spider-like and morbidly detailed. The voice of an angel tells you
to rest, for the war has not ended yet. You lie down on a masterful bed, close your eyes, and sleep. The demons will be with
you soon.
