Diaz Patch enemies

UAC worker: Most UAC civilians are armed with 9mm P50 handguns, due to the tense atmosphere and frequent violence of UAC's space colonies. They don't really appreciate your presence and will make their dislike for you known. Fortunately they don't spend much time at the target range and are lousy shots. Unused to combat, workers tend to freak out and run when under fire. Beware--a few carry shotguns!

UAC scientist: These scientists have been performing illegal experiments for the UAC, and intend to make sure you don't make it out alive with the details. They're not good shots with the P50, but they shoot to kill.

UAC executive: These high-ranking UAC executives are skilled in the use of pistols and more than happy to die for their employer.

Security guards: These security guards keep the peace in UAC facilities. Above the law, are judges, juries, and occasionally executioners on UAC property. They are armed with a 9mm Judgment pistol suited for police work. They're not quick on their feet, but they are quick on the draw.

SWAT officers: These specially trained security guards are trained in covert operations, counter-terrorism, assassination, and espionage, and deployed to deal with suspects in a more subtle manner than the usual security guards. They go down easily but move fast.

Security Response Team: The SRT is a crack security force deployed to quell riots, guard sensitive areas, and eliminate particularly dangerous subjects. Many of them are ex-military, disgraced policemen, or former mercenaries, and all are deadly accurate with their weapons.

SRT elite units: The cream of the SRT, these enforcers are drawn from the most reknowned mercenary organizations in the world. Utterly fearless, they most commonly appear as bodyguards for high-ranking UAC personnel. They wear masks to conceal their identities in public, and wield devastating Marteba revolvers.

SRT pest control: These heavy assault units are called in only for the most serious threats. Armed with powerful flamethrowers, they can fill corridors with burning napalm and take many hits to kill. The napalm tanks carried by pest control units explode if punctured by bullets, which can be dangerous in close quarters. Sometimes melee or electrical attacks, which do not set off the napalm tanks, are a better option.

Paramilitaries: These hired thugs have been called in by UAC to supplement their existing security forces. Mostly common criminals in uniform, paramilitaries are brutish and highly aggressive, but are not very skilled with their SMG39s, mostly content to spray bullets everywhere.

Paramilitary elites: The paramilitaries are led by a hardened core of ex-military mercs with advanced training and equipment. They are strong enough to fire their Skorpion rifles full auto, and wear bulletproof vests that make them difficult to kill.

Paramilitary sniper: These troops forgo other elites' armor in favor of camouflage and deadly Mauser sniper rifles. If you see one taking aim, sidestep quickly before you get a hole in the head.

Paramilitary machine gunners: As if Skorpions weren't bad enough, some paramilitary troops are armed with devastating RPK machine guns. They take their time setting them up, but once they start shooting they will not stop until their target is cut to pieces.

Paramilitary grenadiers: These elites aren't just satisfied with plugging you with their Skorpions; they've got hand grenades as well! When you see one of these orange-suited paramilitaries reach for his belt, run!

Paramilitary commando: The worst of a bad lot, these commandoes carry AT30 slugthrowers and a surly disposition. Once you hear them shout, you have less than a second to take cover before you're blown sky-high.

Power-armored soldiers: The UAC has been developing full-body suits of powered armor to greatly enhance the capabilities of infantry in the field. These armored suits are packed with powerful myomer actuators that can increase the strength of a user up to ten-fold, and the composite shell is very resistant to gunfire. Some of the most loyal SRT members have been given these prototype power armors. With a neutralizer in one hand and a deadly claw in the other, these modern-day takes on the armored knight are some of the most deadly foes you will encounter.

Ceiling turrets: These automated defense systems automatically lock onto intruders and spray them with their twin small-caliber machine guns. They pack a lot of firepower, but are fortunately immobile.

Defense flyers: Much like the above, only these can come out to get you instead of sitting on the ceiling waiting for you. One is armed with a machine gun, the other with a rocket launcher. Both are deadly.

Inquisitor Bipedal Assault Platform: If the assault mechs weren't bad enough, these walking tanks are much, much worse. RUN. Run fast. Run hard.
